Taylor Swift Concert

I ditched my paint clothes last evening for a velvet and sequin jacket.  Steven had bought me tickets to the Taylor Swift concert all the way back in February!  My, how time really does fly.
Hard to believe we've made it to September, much less nearing the end of it.

Maybe I'm a wierdo, but I looked forward to picking up this Chick-Fil-A for our date all day.
I'm not hard to please: Diet Coke with a Spicy Chicken Sandwich and a Peach Milkshake to split with Steven and I am one happy camper.
Don't get me wrong, I love fine dining too, but seriously?
How often does that happen with 3 kiddos???

No "professional" cameras allowed inside.

So we took one last shot before almost getting mugged while running around abandoned buildings with homeless hangouts...and all because a train kept us from crossing a safe street on foot.
Good thing I wore flats.

Taylor looked gorgeous, of course. :-)
Steven was having a hard time looking at all that really red lipstick...I made a mental note: don't try to push that fashion statement on him.
{Not that I was thinking of donning my red lipstick with my paint shirts anyway.}

I was pleasantly surprised how many instruments she played: mandolin, 12-string guitar among others, banjo, and piano.  There were several songs with lots of violins and one with a harp. {oh so pretty!}  I love how she writes most, if not all of her songs...such true talent there and I was glad to be a part of it as one of 13,000 people in that stadium.

She wore several pretty ball gowns and finished up with her ever popular "Love Story".  Just gorgeous!

Leaving the stadium...such a fun night with my love.  He is truly my favorite person to do anything with.
Thank you, honey, for buying me tickets to a concert with a bunch of screaming junior high girls and acting like you absolutely loved every minute of being there with me!

 And just to give you a sneek peek of what I've been donning my paint clothes for...

Guess what room I've been working on???
